Tax Services
Federal Income Tax Returns
Corporations
- C Corporations: File Form 1120, U.S. Corporation Income Tax Return.
- S Corporations: File Form 1120S, U.S. Income Tax Return for an S Corporation.
Partnerships
- Partnerships file Form 1065, U.S. Return of Partnership Income. The income is passed through to the partners, who report it on their personal tax returns using Schedule K-1 (Form 1065)
Limited Liability Companies (LLCs)
- LLCs with multiple members are generally treated as partnerships and file Form 1065 unless they elect to be treated as a corporation by filing Form 8832
- Single-member LLCs are treated as disregarded entities and report income on the owner's personal tax return unless they elect to be treated as a corporation
State Income Tax Returns
State income tax requirements vary by state. Generally, businesses must file state income tax returns in each state where they have a tax nexus. This can include:
